Are you getting'no sound' on all inputs? EG DVD, TV/sat sound or just when playing CDs?

How old is the unit?

Probably an internal fuse. If you take it to your local BOSE dealer www.bose.co.uk and click on dealers. Standard repair and service charge of £79.00 inc shipping.
