Micro HiFi Recommendations (with DAB)
Discussion
Chaps,
We're thinking of splashing out some pennies (note - pennies) on a micro HiFi system. It's for the bedroom, and the budget is small, but we'd like something that's not utterly crummy. Requirements are that it must be able to turn itself on using a timer, it must have a sleep timer to turn itself off, must have a remote controller, would be preferable to have DAB, must play a CD. That's about it. No need for iPod docks, USB connections etc.
Looking at WhatHiFi, they seem to say that a Goodmans unit ( here is pretty good value for money at £75, but it turns out that this unit is pretty much unavailable (the review being about four years out of date.)
So, for that sort of budget (around £100), what is worth buying in the world of Micro HiFis, and what is a complete waste of cash? All suggestions welcome ...
Thanks.
Oli.
