Hi All -

wondering if anyone can help here -

I've got a home network with a netgear EVA 2000 media player which seems to handle most file types OK - but when i try to plonk anything that I've done in imovie or films bought off itunes (MP4) - it (the media player) show the error message : 'unable to display video of this resolution'

most irritating as one of the reasons for getting the media player was to be able to drop in short films, so the family can watch on the TV rather than the laptop...

Set up i have is:

Macbook (source of files)
Buffalo linkstation (where I can save them all)
netfear 384g wireless router
Net gear EVA2000 media player (wired to the router)
Panny LCD TV

Is this another case of apples kit telling all other formats to Bu66er off?

or is there somthing simple that i'm missing?

ironically my 'workaround' is posting to the shorts to youtube which works OK but i cant believe there is not a way of playing the files....

any help most gladly recieved,

BERGS

I think they are AAC file, NOT Apple files.

I suspect media player needs a plug in to play them....
