Looking at replacing my old style TV with a 37 inch tele. Have guessed that the recomended make is Panasonic but I'm not sure whether to go plasma or LCD at this size. I will only be using it to watch TV and at the moment have normal sky and not sky HD. I have no terrestrial signal - is it worth going for one with inbuilt freesat?

Any advice appreciated

Its a good all round telly for the money. I'm not personally into the gaming side but as yet we've not had any negative feedback.
5 year manufacturers warranty is only through independant dealers and not through the 'larger' shed type stores. But £460.00 is pretty good! If you want a full HD panel then perhaps look at the 42S20 also. It has a built in Freeview HD tuner also.
Neither of the two models, X or S series now have VGA inputs which is a bit of a retrograde step IMO
