Bought my first LCD TV recently. Its already got some marks on the LCD screen itself.

Whats the best way of cleaning the marks from the screen? I have a Dell monitor (LCD) too, and have tried screenwipes and sprays, but this left smear marks all over the monitor.

We've got some of these at work:

The foam pad is shaped to a point which reaches nicely into the corners of the screen.

The only time I was left with smears after cleaning was because there wass still dirt on the screen. The inital clean can use a number of screen wipes. Then use the wipes more frequently once all the muck is removed.

I heard it must be done when its cold, rather than on or just switched off. Which is maybe why you are getting smears. Just a thought.
