Budget of around £400 we sit about 2.5m-3m away from the TV
I had been looking at Pana TX-L32X10, but also saw the TX-L32S10 is almost the same price and Full HD.
We get our TV reception through Virgin.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

I also have that set, got it for £320.

I'm fully aware that its not as good as the Panasonics etc... but for the money it was by far the best set I looked at / tested.

The main selling points for me were its excellent suitability for use as a PC / Gaming monitor.

I am happy to spend up to the top of my budget, I have found the X10 for 350 and the S10 for 370, so not that much more than the tv you have suggested.
Its just not clear if the S10 is meant to be better or worse or just different to the X10? I'm finding it hard to tell...
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Absolutely no point WHATSOEVER in buying a Full HD at 32", when the only thing it's useful for is wasted unless you sit 3' from it, which would cause such eyestrain as to be unbearable after 5-10 minutes!
To that end, stick with the X10 if you must go with 32", or move up to the plasma 37" X20

I bought a 32V10 just before Christmas because I wanted a set with built in Freesat. A 37" TV was physically too big for where we wanted the set.

I can discern differences at distances greater than 3' but maybe the SD pictures don't display so well on a 1920x1080 screen. The TV came with a Bluray player and 7 disks. I now need access to equivalent DVDs so I can compare non broadcast pictures.

So come on then, what is the verdict?!! bounce

I am in exactly the same position as the OP having just bought a PS3 and already being on Virgin - I want a HD TV to get the most from the PS3 and the HD Channels that I have access to.

One (daft) question though to all you experts out there, if the TV is not listed as having built in Freeview, does this mean that come digital switch over it will be no use unless you have cable / satellite?? confused

ALL TV's currently being sold, and previously for the past 3 years at the very least, have a Freeview tuner in-built.
Some had analog, but obviously nothing is/will be displayed upon choosing that input.
