Hard disk recorders

I have been looking to put all of my cd's onto some sort of recorder & have been recommended a Brennan JB7.

Does anybody know what they are like or can someone suggest an alternative for a technological illiterate. I dont really know what's out there to do the job so all suggestions would be welcome.

I've not got one, but I can tell you Brennan is a smart guy - he developed the Atari Jaguar console. By all accounts the JB7 is a pretty neat bit of kit. It does what it says on the tin. If you're not into fiddling around with PCs and MP3 players, it's about the only option.
