guys, my eldest has saved up 40 quid and wants to buy an ipod nano docking jobbie so she can hear mp3's on loudspeaker in her room

we looked in the argos catalogue and theres planety for her budget but they all seemed to be made by BUSH so I guessing not the best available

does anyone know a half decent one... it obviously doesnt need to be amazing, she's not a discering audiophile, just as long as it works and the sound is ok. I just thought i may as well find out of there are any recommends at this level.

cheers, R

How about this- http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/4-/532...

bound to be better than bush-goodmans etc, iv'e got a 2.1 computer speaker set by the same company, and they're superb. 5* what Hi-Fi rating to if you're into that kind of thing. Seems to be the best you will get with your budget. Its tuned by Cyrus (Hi-Fi equipment manufacturer) :-)

I picked one up from Aldi when we were refurbing the house, didn't want my bose one getting covered in paint / plaster etc. It's a Tevion (never heard of them before) cost 20 odd quid and I can honestly say the sound quality is pretty damn good for such small speakers. It now lives in the bathroom hehe

It's as good as my old logitech one, better infact as it hasn't stopped working. Dunno if you can still get them, but for the money they're decent.

Alternately the Logitech X240 doesn't look to bad for 20 quid either.

I have a Cambridge Audio one, pretty good for the money and well under the £40 budget.

Edit: Ah sorry just realised you want one with speakers. Forget this then!
