Digital radio not getting reception
Discussion
It's about 3 years old but we've turned it on after a year or two of not using it and it doesn't even set the time. Is this part of the Digital Switchover (that's resulted in me having to retune my TV a couple of times already*) or is it just knackered?
*Incidentally, have they stopped buggering about yet?

DAB radio has nothing to do with the digital switchover of TV, although there are radio stations included in Freeview.
Regarding your radio:
Regarding your radio:
- What make and model is it?
- Is it mains only or battery only or both?
- If it has batteries what are they like?
- Does it have FM as well, if so does that work?

As far as my experience goes, that's completely normal. I don't think it could be a more useless system if it tried.
Interesting, my DAB radio is excellent, in fact I have 3 in my house, one in the office, a clock radio in the bedroom, and a portable for out and about and in the garage, all work well and give me loads of choice of radio listening.Bill said:
How odd, it's working now After a couple of days apparently attempting to set its clock and being turned on and off I had another go when I went to have a look at what model it was.
So, erm, thanks
Some models do have a 'reset' button on which needs to be pressed to retune as opposed to just turning on and off...So, erm, thanks

I live near a large town 30 miles from 2 large cities. I can get one DAB station.
