Sky via Slingbox to PS3
Discussion
Hello. As usual I have searched the forums, but I cannot find the answer to my specific question.
I have Sky in the UK connected to a Slingbox Solo that after much faffing I eventually managed to hardwire to my wireless modem. Decades of patchwork rewiring meant the Homeplugs were useless. (Maplins do a reasonably priced 25 metre Category 6 cable.)
I have wireless broadband, a PS3 and decent TV in another country. Ideally I would like to be able to stream Sky to my TV via the PS3. Is this possible? If not, how do I make it possible? Other alternatives are streaming it from my iPhone or laptop to the TV, but ideally I'd like to use the PS3, since the system can then be fixed permanently in place. TIA.

I was worried that Slingcatcher would be the fixed in place solution. Unlike the PS3, it offers no wireless connectivity so would mean hacking out the walls and ceiling again, but thanks anyway. It would be easier and cheaper to sacrifice an old netbook specifically for the job.
