"shallow" cinema surround amp
Discussion
Folks,
Not sure if such a thing exists, but the missus has decided on a piece of furnature that she would like to stuff all the TV gear in (its an old chinese tea chest thing so plenty of ventilation before that issue is raised)
However it is a tad shallow, my current amp (older Sony 5:1 integrated jobbie) does fit in there, but its a very tight fit so was wondering if anyone knows of any reasonably descent amps that are perhaps not as deep.
My living room telly is not that high tech (old 32" hitachi plazma) so HDMI is not essential, however does need ideally 4 or 5 sets of component input.
So over to the hoard!!
seems that i have a lot of old stuff

What depth do you have? There are very few shallow amps that I can think of. Some of the budget Onkyo's are not too deep ( SR507 )but I dont not recall four component inputs. Let me know what space you have and I will look into it for you. I take it you can not put the equipment elsewhere and run the cables?
