If I wanted to watch England vs. USA at Le Mans this year and took my mutli room Sky+ card and a second Sky+ box I have in the loft, can I just rig them up with a dish and expect to get a signal/picture in the middle of France?

Will I need a twenty foot pole for the dish?. Does my Sky viewing card know which box it is in?

Opinions welcomed

AFAIK you need an 80cm dish, a sky box and a paired card. Don't forget the scart lead and plug for your telly lol...
Obviously Sky will get annoyed with the licencing and fair use stuff smile

We took one of these back in 2002 http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=48737 or something close to it

It didn't work due to the dish being to small frown ,the guys next to us had a larger dish(the older larger type sky one) and we teamed up and managed to get to watch it in the end thumbup

£130 for the Maplins special and it didn't work!!
Looks like we have to take Colin's dish off of the back of his house then.
Thanks for the tip about dish size that might save the day.

You could alsways stream it over the web using a Sling Player.

Would that need a good 3G signal in a Le Mans campsite? I think the data download costs would be a bit much.
Does anyone know if that is realistic?
