Ph'ers

I have a requirement for a cheap HD TV to take away with me.

I need:

HDMI ports, at least 1.
LCD or Plasma, not bothered.
Will be used with a PS3(hdmi).
Ideally around 32".
1080p would be lovely, but maybe not realistic.
Integrated Freeview.
Stand mounted.
£300 ish?

I know I want a lot, for very cheap, so I guess I'm not going to get anything great. How does this.

Oh, I need it by Saturday at the latest!

Cheers

Mr Darcy

If you can push your budget another 79 quid then this is a good buy

Plotty may well start self-harming at the mere thought, but:

Thanks for all the replies.

The LG set looks like a good buy, great contrast ratio and full HD for £379. I'm not so sure on the Tesco one JAYB! It's not even that cheap compared to the LG and doesn't seem to have the features or contrast ration. Pretty keen on the Toshiba from Richer Sounds too, might give them a call and see if it's in stock...

Is it safe to lay LCD TV's on their back for a long time? I'm thinking it might be in my boot for around 24hrs.

Wel, I was really hoping for Plotty's reaction to posting a Samsung screened telly from Tesco.

Not an entirely serious suggestion.

Get the Toshiba. IF you can find one.
No issues with laying LCDs down at all. That's plasmas.

Hmm, I'm being encouraged to reduce the budget a little. What do you guys think of this.

Ask her if PriceZone shoes are equally in scope? hehe

I think a 27" screen is perfectly adequate for what you might need. I'd also say that 1080P at that size (and at 32" as well) is a bit pointless.
