Thoughts on budget A/V system....
Discussion
Looking to get the most out of the PS3 and Pioneer KRL 37 with a starter AV system.
Budget is not much as well as other issues (see below)!
I have identified some potential AV amps but have no idea about speakers.
Thoughts on:
Pioneer VSX819HS
Sony STR-DH800
Yamaha RX-V565
I have an old Denon CD player which I would want to hook up too.
My issue with speakers is a lack of useful space. My TV sits on a make-shift stand which is basically two bits of thick MDF resting on the skirting board!
It is in the right alcove of my lounge wall (2 alcoves and fireplace wall) and because the sofa is in line with the fire-place, the TV is at an angle. There is not much room either side of the TV for bookshelfs and if we were to place them square on the shelf above, they would not be pushing sound towards us on the sofa!
Are there any good satellite speakers that are not extortionatly priced?
The issue has also led me to consider the Onkyo HTX-22D as this has relatively small speakers and a sub built into the amp. But really, I want to future proof and get the full AMP etc.
Any advice welcome!

I have listened to all of these with various set-ups, the Pioneer looks the best, but lacks the punch.
Yamaha is good, but the Sony knocks them for bang for buck, in my opinion, It was the loudest, and had the most clarity. Listening to the Helicopter part in Swordfish - where the Chopper lifts the bus in the the Sky, the Propeller noises from the Sony were far far better, meatier, and the detail was better. I bought the Sony for my GF on the back of this - and the reviews for it.
