Panasonic 50G10 - over the price mentioned there, but you tend to get what you pay for.
Maybe waiting for another month or two, see what the new Panasonics are like, and priced at.

Looks quite good, i picked one of these up today with a panel fault, it looked quite a reasonable TV when it was working.

On Boxing Day Curry's were knocking out Samsung 50" Full 1080p Plasmas for £599.

They've now put them back up to £799 though.
