How easy to rescue an old shed
Discussion
Got a really old shed at the bottom of the garden thats proven to be a great photo location but its a little on the dangerous side to really use further. Some wood in the floor has gone and worried about structural strength of floor boards.
OK the easy bit is to refloor it but no point in doing that if I dont brace the old shell somehow and somehow reroof it but is it something that can be done so to not lose the aged feel/character?
the wood itself is solid enough in the majority of places and its actually, despite the lack of felt, bone dry in there so is it rescuable? If so, advice? I doubt the structure would hold new fixments but supports its current ones, ie I dont think I could nail/screw to it. Can I fabricate an external brace?
