looking for something compact and discreet that will give a small boost to my tv's sound...nothing stupid loud req

ONKYO HTX-22HD caught my eye , its a 2.1 system , plain looks ..maybe the sub is a little big for my needs

can anyone suggest anything similar idealy around £200 or less ..i already have a blu ray player so nothing that includes a dvd player

Yamaha soundbar would be the normal recommendation, but I think that will blow your budget.

I have the Sony HT-SS1300 which is an older version of this:

Pretty good for the dosh and handles multichannel PCM audio over HDMI too.

I looked at the Onkyo too but this suited my needs better. You can get rear surround speakers for the Onkyo.
