An email I just sent to a manufacturer:

I ordered and paid for an AXXXM MXXXE 5.1 from XXXXXXXXXX Hi-Fi at the beginning of January and have been told on several occasions when I enquired that it will be available in “about 2 weeks”. Today I decided to call your company direct to see what the hold-up was. I called your number and selected Sales and a nice lady answered the phone, I explained the situation and she told me that “we have already provided this information to XXXXXXXXXX Hi-Fi this morning and we don’t actually like dealing with the public”.

No problem, it’s the public who pay your salaries. I will cancel my order on Friday when I return to the UK and I will deal with a manufacturer who is willing to listen to my problem and deal with my enquiry. I had been looking forward to this purchase for several months but unfortunately this as not turned out the way I had hoped.

I received an OOO stating that there Office Hours are 9 - 5......I make it just after 3pm rolleyes
