This is bugging me so I thought I would see if anyone on here can sort me out.

I have this TV- http://uk.sanyo.com/Products/View/CE42FD90-B -.
I am using a Home Cinema, Virgin + box, and an Xbox 360.

Is there a way for the switching between inputs to be automatic? I have to use the remote to select the source (HDMI 1, 2 and 3) for each on the peripherals. Going from Virgin to Xbox is ok, cause they are next to each other, but to go from Xbox back to TV, I have to scroll through all the options to get back to HDMI 1 (YPbPr, PC-VGA, TV, DTV/USB etc etc etc).

Is there any way of setting it so that whichever peripheral is needed, it automatically switches priority to that device?

Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Never seen that particular set but the ones i have come across (mainly the WSD)then you indeed have to cycle through all of the av's to get to the one you want.

This TV does not have hdmi detection.
You could run all the toys into an auto HDMI switcher and just run one cable from that to one of the hdmi inputs on the TV.

Thank you Bushi.
I will do that then.
I wasnt aware they existed. Used to use one for Scart inputs, and it woorked quite well.
I will have a look for one.

Thanks again.

Edited to add,,,

Will this one do the trick?
I will still be able to have sound through the Home Cinema, as I have an optical feed from the TV.
It look to me like it should be ok.

The auto switching unit from my post above arrived today, and it works a treat.
Many thanks for the suggestion.
Happy Chappie now.
