Is HD worth it.
Discussion
Seeing the limited amount of programms actually on HD, and the cost of getting a HD tv/sky box is it worth it, will it be worth it?
We changed our tube tv to a HD ready as the tube was old and too big. But so far the reception of SD is good, HD is very good but enough to warrent an upgrade?

Yep, More channels being added all the time
And therein lies the problem...too many channels and not enough bandwidth.HD in the UK is piss-poor and barely scrapes above SD bit-rates.
So in answer to the question, yes it is but only if you can source good HD from America.
It depends on what you watch.
Sport looks ace in HD, the cricket especially.
Movies look better on bluray and they've got better sound.
Depends, if you've got the full monty Sky package and actually use it then spending the tenner is worth it.
If you dont and you dont then its probably not.
