Looking for a new telly

I have a strict budget of a maximum of £600. I am thinking of a 37" - 42" flat screen thing to replace my digital CRT 28" Panasonic.

LG, Toshiba or Samsung seem to be my only choices.

Any recommendations?

You may, if you can find one, just be able to sneak a Panasonic 42G10 in at that. If not, the S10 wouldn't be a bad place to end up.

We got an LG plasma (50PS3000) just before Christmas and we're very pleased with it.

I've also got a 3 year old Toshiba 32WL66 LCD upstairs and again it's never given us any trouble.

Personally I find Samsungs a bit artificial - they just look too bright and the picture quality didn't match the LG/Panasonic's that I looked at.

Too late - I got an LG 42LH3000 which looks like it will fulfil my needs. I will find out when it is delivered. £518 if anyone is interested.
