Harmony remotes - need help with switching HDMI inputs
Discussion
Guys,
I've recently purchased a Logitech Harmony One which seems to be working well apart from one small problem.
My set up is:
LG 50PS3000
LG BD360
Virgin V+
Media PC
Onkyo 605
The Blu-Ray and Virgin are plugged into the Onkyo 605 with an HDMI lead going from that to the TV (HDMI1). The Media PC is plugged directly into the TV via HDMI2.
If I switch activity from say "Watch TV" to "Watch Blu-Ray" that all works as it should. Again if I change activity to "MediaPC" it switchs the TV input from HDMI1 to HDMI2. However when I want to go back to TV (via the "Watch TV" activity) it doesn't go back to HDMI1 it simply cycles through to the next HDMI (3) on the TV which isn't used.
I've been playing about with the settings but I can't get it to cycle through and ignore HDMI3 which isn't used.
Any one else had a similar issue?
Thanks,
Phill

Does your TV have the option to go straight to an input rather than cycling? I'm pretty sure the Harmony software allows both... I just set the input to HDMI1/2 as appropriate rather than cycling.
Failing that, check the options in the software and, as previously suggested, change the cycling.

To change an input on the TV remote I can either press "Input", highlight the option that I want and then either click ok or just leave the option highlighted and it will go to that. Failing that, check the options in the software and, as previously suggested, change the cycling.
Will have a play again tonight.

If you go into the Devices section of the software, then select your TV and select Adjust inputs, select the method of choosing inputs and then you will see a list of the inputs that your TV has. This list to be in exactly the same order as the menu that appears on the screen of your TV when you press the Input button on the original remote.
I don't know if this works for your TV, but pressing '1' when viewing on any AV input puts my Sony TV onto BBC 1, so I've put this in the 'Watch TV' macro on my 525. I can also set my TV to ignore the other inputs (I don't use the second HDMI as the switching is done at my amp/video processor) so it skips any unused inputs.
