Having bought a Toshiba RD-XV59DT DVD & VHS Player recently, we've recorded some films to HDD but, when playing them back, the words are out of synch with the film.
I can't find anything in the instructions to cure this.
No easy fix, try unplugging and plugging back in and trying a new recording. If it keeps doing it then it is either faulty or just crap. Edit to add, most Toshiba stuff now is made by Vestel who are not known for their quality.
