Just wanted a little bit of advice regarding a new setup I'm after.

I have my eyes on:
Samsung LED 46"
Optoma hd20
Electric Screen

I need advice on an amp and speakers.

I will be using them for music and also tv / DVD's from my PS3. I need them to be very small, neat and white if possible.

Budget is maybe £200 for the amp and possibly the same for the speakers. I'm after something that will sound GOOD in a flat - not amazing or something that will go really loud (it's for a flat!) just something that gives a good surround sound experience and also is small and neat. I would go secondhand on the amp too if there is a popular make?

I would rather go on recommendation if possible...

Thanks!

72. Aiwa are very generous. Actually, that might be SCART which i beleive to be exactly the same.

Most of the parties i went to with my school friends used one of these to blast out tunes. You could have the volume three-quarters full with no audible distortion.

The neighbours hated it, and us!

You will need a sub if you go very small sat speakers so £200 will not get you very good quality. I have Orb lifestyle speakers with a cheapish sub, Onkyo amp and it all sounds rather good.

Those look great but in a flat I can't help feel they will be wasted? I can't really have it all cranked up to get the full potential that's why I feel something cheaper might suffice.

I'm no AV expert so I feel it would be wasted on me.

Just looking for something good looking and not too expensive - if they is such thing as cheap AV hehe
