Hi,
we have decided to treat ourselves to a new TV/Amp/speakers etc. We have a budget of around 1k to 1.5k

We are after ..
37" Plasma tv - Panasonic TXP37X10? would a C10 be as good? we don't need a pc input
good amp that will take blu ray when we decide to upgrade - Onkyo TSXR577?
speakers kef 1005.2?
cable 10m
hdmi connectors x 2
TV stand

is there anything else i should be looking for? Will the suggested come in budget and be a good system?

cheers
Rich

You might be able to get it cheaper i have seen them for about £1k but from what ive seen and read its one hell of a telly , thinking of getting one myself smile

Or http://www.johnlewis.com/230676391/Product.aspx seems a very good deal

I know neither are 37 but as they say size matters smile

AIMHO

The experts will slate me later biggrin

Aha! This is the model Richer Sounds recommended to me! I need a multi-room system as I have some additional speakers in the kitchen, and this is what they suggested (£300) though I've seen one in silver for £250 elsewhere. What speakers did you get?

I've got an Onkyo 605 in the lounge running Jamo A102 speakers and two ceiling speakers in the kitchen (run off Zone 2).

Combination seems to worth very well together.

I used my old Panasonics for the front and surround and a new Tannoy active sub (which is only good not great) you can run two speakers in zone 2 with this, not sure how just now though!
