Who sells TVs etc...

I am in the market for a 42" or so LCD freeview with full HD, so want to see what is out there.

Der is your man Jas and will probably recommend a Panny plasma if your budget is up to £1k. That's what I'd recommend anyway as I have a Panny PW6 monitor. Over to the experts. . .

Think it might be a PH'er who works at digital direct?

Either way, take a look at the Samsung LED TV's. Dad has just bought one (46") and it's picture is brilliant - better than the Panasonic 46 Plasma I bought last year. has freeview too.

Thank you chaps, I will ping him a message now.

I am thinking a 42" LCD (just bought a 37" Panasonic but now the one in the bedroom has died so thinking I'll put the 37 in the bedroom and get a 42 for the lounge).....

Excellent bits of kit if you ask me. Even better with an HD feed bizarrely given it's not an HD box. Not the prettiest but excellent trickery inside. smile

If you remember let us know what you end up with Jas?

Just to add, the TV is rather cool, looks good in the lounge and appears to show the PS3 games a little better than my Panasonic Viera.. Not sure why, it just looks a little better.

So, all in well, pleased as punch with Simon (derestrictor) so if anyone wants a new TV etc. then give him a call !

And i should think what with the amount of time you are playing MW2, the new Sony TV is getting a fair bit of use wink

It most certainly is !! I also have Vivid mode on now which makes it easier to see the enemy when they move...

It also just seems to show "normal" TV in a slightly better way..
