AV amp for £1000

Mainly yes. I have bought a house with a separate TV room. the house came with in wall speakers / 50" plasma / sub / and cheap denon amp. I have a tag av32r and 100X5, lumagen scalar / tag speakers - but want to combine it all in one amplifier with built in scaling. I also do not want to spoil the asthetics of the room - hence the tag gear at the moment wont be used (as much as a hate the thought).
I have also realised that i need to set a ceiling on the cost as with all this kit it is almost worthless after 1 year as technology moves on (the only exception is probably the tag gear which was far superior to anything I auditioned when i bought it). Therefore i would rather spend £1000 now with the view of spending £1000 again in 2 years rather than spending £2000 now.
