Hi Chaps,

I have searched, as I know this topic pops up alot, but coulf not get an answer.

Basically, I wall mounted the TV over the weekend, and my Xobx, Sky box and V+ box are tucked away nicely in my unit below the TV.

However, I have to leave the drawer front open to change the channel on V+.

Is there any device which merely extends the IR reciver, so I leave it closed whist I can change the V+ channel?

On the back of my V+ box (Scientific Atlanta) there is a mini jack for IR, I don't know what it does, I have never tried, but it may be there to plug in an external IR eye?

Do those Pyramid things do the trick?

I didnt know the V+ had an IR extender at the back, has anyone used it?

Been searching the next- the IR out on the V+ is not functional frown

Stick to the remote senders.

I've just bought a great little set up from Keene thumbup

I have 2 receivers(one in bedroom, one in lounge next to TV) going into an AMP, that then goes to 2 transmitters, one in front of the V+ the other in front of my PopCorn Hour. Works very well, though not cheap cheap (40/50 quid)
