Help ,please ! biggrin

I yesterday acquired a lovely iphone (what a piece of kit!) and would like to know how I can play the ipod mp3's through my Yamaha sound projector.

I assume I will still need a docking station but which other wires or equipment would I need to get the sound to come through the YSP ?

Cheers in advance

Does the Yamaha have normal RCA inputs? If so, probably the cheapest way would be to use the headphone output of the iPhone and connect it to the Yamaha with a cable with a 3.5mm plug on one end and two RCA connectors on the other. Something like this... http://www.richersounds.com/product/phono-leads/ca...

A neater solution would be to use a dock in between the cable and the iPhone - that way you won't run-out of battery and you'll be bypassing the iPod's internal volume control by using the dock connector on the bottom of the iPhone rather than the headphone output.
