Bass shakers

I remember seing the blurb for the "buttkicker shaker" systems years ago. I was totally, utterly sold on the concept.

Unfortunately, when the demo units arrived, i realised it was in reality the worst idea ever. The effect wasn't anything like the experience of bass from speakkers, and since you were essentially siutting on a large vibrator (a chair hooked up to a shaker), it also made you question wether the whole experience was a bit ghey.
After some humming and harring, and including that Top Gun was one of our more popular demo films, we decided not to stok bass shakers, lest the shop get a reputation.

Thanks for that ,I was thinking more in line with using them and a sub rather than just on their own ,guess for the money I won't be wasting to much if I don't like them
