Anyone know how numbering of Denon CD players works?
Discussion
Hello all,
Bit of a long shot here.
I have a Denon DCD-825 CD player that is on it's last legs (refusing to play most CDs). I think I will try taking it apart and cleaning it (any tips?) but I also think it will need replacing soon enough.
Now the problem. I'm looking at second hand Denon (to match the rest of the stack) units on eBay and can't work out how the numbering works. For example I've seen a DCD-860 but it looks much older than my DCD-825.
Does anyone know how the range numbering works (or worked) so I can end up with something of equivalent or better quality?
Any comments appreciated.
