Two questions, I was going to do two separate posts, however I guess I'll be lucky if I get any answer on either. Here goes........

DAD3 CD Cyrus.

How hard is it to fit a Q24 module card, and is it really worth it ?

Quad 606 Amp.
I have one of these, and was thinking of getting another one, and running them per channel.

Is this possible.

There you, they're out there, now can anyone answer them suitably ?

You could just Bi-amp. I tried that with my set-up and wasn't that keen, certainly compared to a better single unit.

OP, Quad 606 isn't bridgable, so you'd be down to biamping
You could run each channel hi/low off 1 amp, but IMO it's easier to just biamp normally (1 amp hi 1 amp low). The 606 had a few versions, so if you're biamping, try to get a unit similar to the one you have.

On the dad3, I've got one, but I thought that the Q24 module was no longer supplied by Cyrus?

How did you get one? I'm curious since I was toying with the idea of trying to find one, but I guess they are all plugged into dad3s. Maybe if I could find a spares or repairs dad3 Q24 on ebay . .

Slim to no chance I guess.

ETA - Just found a completed listing (Oct) for a DAD3 Q24 spares on ebay, so they are around. Went for £115.

Look at this http://www.rdhworld.co.uk/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=3... and read this

It's basically a case of slotting in a board into the PCB and swapping a jumper. Based on these threads, give cyrus a ring and they ought to help.
