Which Popcorn Hour to buy?
Discussion
Agree with T84, clunky interface, ok for video, crap for music.
Have a look at an HDX-1000 as well, a popcorn hour A-110 in a much nicer case (and has a co-ax digital out in addition to the optical one). Latest firmware is just about the same as a an A110 and includes DTS downmix. I have one and it's been very good.

To be fair though I run a custom Jukebox app called YAMJ which makes playing video lovely, I think that a music alternative exists as well, best bet is to read through http://www.networkedmediatank.com/ as it is a brilliant resource and they should answer all of your questions
I have an A110, which I bought about 3 months ago. At the time the C200 was "almost" out, but I decided to just go for the A110.
First off, it's great.
However, it could use some customisation which, through YAMJ, I will do when I have my AV setup all sorted.
Essentially you need 1 for every location - i.e. each TV, however it's an expensive solution for just music (£180 for the A110 I think). I'm sure there'd be other ways of doing it. Or, just run an audio cable to that location and go off your original popcorn (using an IR extender if needed).
However, let me just stress, how bloody good I think the PH is

Which part of YAMJ do you use for the music inteface? I've still not properly played, only dabbled, but it didn't look obvious?!TonyHetherington said:

SQB Duet and a PCH is the killer combo for network media consumption.
Unless I can interest Sir in something a little less enthusiast...
Hi Plotless, do you set these kinds of systems up? If so, how much do you charge for a basic one zone set up? (but with the ability to add further zones, up to say 6 further downstream)Unless I can interest Sir in something a little less enthusiast...
Thanks
