Copying a programme from sky + to a DVD

Connect the second Scart from your Sky box to the DVD and tune the DVD to the Sky output. On the Sky box, press play and start the DVD recording. Whether you can copy the protected stuff depends on how fussy your choice of DVD recorder is.
Never tried copy direct to DVD as the box is showing it live, only from recording on the Sky box so don't know if that makes a difference
