Advice please guys- have around the £600 mark to spend for a 42"ish telly. Will be used for HD TV (freesat if poss, but probably sky), Blu-ray movies and playing the PS3. Getting smooth movement is very imoprtant to me!

What would people recommend- there is so much around at this price point nowadays!

Panny 42X10 should be able to get that under budget by as much as £70 if you shop around. I just got the 37" version, it's brilliant, very intuitive to use, great picture quality and excellent build quality.

If you can push the budget to £750 ish, then the 42G10 comes into play, which gives you the FreeSat in-built, Full HD panel (for when you pull the sofa closer to it to watch B-R movies), etc.
Otherwise, the 42X10 is a very good TV if the budget is firmly set.
