Stream sky HD/blu-ray/pc to 3/4 seperate displays?

I'm installing the tv's for the living room this weekend. I'm going to have 2 50" plasmas and an 80" fixed projection screen (monaco x-screen). The PJ is going to be hidden in a cupboard but i only want 1 sky hd box to run the whole lot as i don't see the need to change channels on different screens as the open plan area will not allow seperate sound systems. Effectively i'm going to have 3 zones in the open area, a games/pool zone, cinema zone and open plan kitchen/ dining zone.... we all know that parties end up in the kitchen anyway so i'll pop a screen in there too wink

My issue is wiring, the room is 72 ft in length and so minimal that any cabling will stick out like a sore thumb. Any suggestions on the best value wireless streaming method?

The 50" pioneer is being built into the wall with a fixed hdmi cable so i'll use the 4x2 matrix to run into that and into a streaming device. From the streaming device i'd like to stream all 4 inputs to the matrix to the other panels as and when... ideas needed please smile

I've used these before (have some scart ones) and frankly they're ste smile I need it to stream from 1 base unit to 3 receivers and use HDMI as an input as scart doesn't cut it... i'm thinking something like squeezebox might do it but don't need any storage just the streaming... plenty of options but none that i've used in the past... I don't want to spend a fortune maybe a few hundred quid if necessary!!

My advice, talk to someone who has done this sort of thing (eg Plotloss on PH), take his advice, use the kit he suggests. Or contact a local professional installer.

You are investing a lot of ££££ here and don't want to cock it up with some Heath Robinson Wireless setup.

BTW The Squeezebox is an audio streaming device. You need to send HDMI 1080P video, a whole different ball game.

good advice,

I've already got the other kit from my last place,I've done loads of installs so am fine with that, I just know nothing about wireless streaming as I've taken my eye off the ball in the last 18 months, i'm in no rush to commit without doing the research and will NOT cock this up smile

Cheers

I now know that this isn't possible, which is surprising, but there you go, so i'm going to use a cat5 hdmi distributor and try to run the cables discretely... this'll be fun biggrin pictures to follow, thanks for the input all!!!

You could also look at the Meridian 121 HDMI extender (up to 50m) or HDMI to fibre solutions
