They're ok but honestly, mate, the air is thick with the scent of false economy.
When you factor in the utility derivation chart against the cost of time spent in Benidorm, shouting and foaming, the yield of a decent AV receiver/sub-sat rig trips the red 'no brainer' light.
The problem is the confusion of amplitude and/or bass with quality.
Trust me, if you want to live.

Hi Simon, an eloquent response as always. Hope you are well. When you factor in the utility derivation chart against the cost of time spent in Benidorm, shouting and foaming, the yield of a decent AV receiver/sub-sat rig trips the red 'no brainer' light.

Well, I can get a couple of Wharfedale Diamonds and an Onkyo SR507 for about the same price....but no sub.
The HTX just seems a good piece of kit for someone like me who does not have expansive music set-ups (or a wife who wants her lounge littered with A/V equipment!) etc....
....although I was never a TV connoisseur until you convinced me to buy the Pio KRL!
