I thought D9 was pretty good.
The lead actor guy was pretty awesome I thought, I heard that all his lines were improvised which is quite impressive if true.

Excellent concept that D9.

Almost on a par with The Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift...no wait a minute...

Saw Moon a few weeks ago & really enjoyed it. Minimal cast but very interesting story.

D9 is really good, acting, plot, blowing people & prawns up, sith ifrickin accents.
Lead guy steals the show, I defy you not to emotionally invest in him even tho it's sci-fi smile poor fella

Only lacking ninjas, motorbikes & breasts.

D9 is well worth seeing

I've heard good things about Moon too

Could be the year for decent sci-fi

Yep, all adlibbed. What's also impressive, is that's he's never acted before. He was an engineer or something that gave the director his first job - so he's returned the favour hehe

Just seen D9, and was very impressed, the lead actor was superb and you could really empathise with him......his wife was bloody lovely too. The effects were good (I usually hate CGI)and the plot ok if a little predictable

Surely that's like saying Titanic is predictable, as it's based (loosely) on a period of SA history?

Seen them both in the last couple of weeks, really enjoyed both of them. Nice to see something that is different from the normal guns/explosions/boobs/plotless stories (not complaining about them films thou).
