Well, we're getting rid of our 32" box and we've just knocked out the fireplace and putting one of these on the wall.
Went into Currys today and saw this. We're getting a Blu-ray player and we saw a film on this TV on the Blu-ray player, it was immense. And even with Currys crappy signal, regular TV was good also.
Any of you got this? What are your opinions? And how much did you pay? Currently £699 at Currys and Comet, £665 on Picxmania.

Gretch got one of these on my recommendation on Saturday...
Whilst not quite as good a picture as my LX5090 (and for over a grand less I wouldn't expect it to be) it's a great TV for a bargain price and the BD pic from the PS3 is bloody lovely. I'm pretty impressed with the SD pic from the built in freeview too - it's never going to be great but looks on par with my Pioneer from what I have seen far.
There does seem to be a bit of image retention, but it clears fairly quickly and there are various screenwash methods to combat it.
The menu system is very intuitive, the guide works nicely and sound wise it's not too bad either.
We were playing Little Big Planet earlier and I was seriously impressed with the image on the screen.
If you want a cheap, large plasma with good features and a decent HD pic I don't think you can go too far wrong with this LG. A resounding from me.
Oh, I picked it up for £699 from Currys and even managed to get it in the back of the CTR as well
