I'm looking for an LCD TV + Hinged Wall Bracket + Installation (if possible) for £500 or less.

Where's the best to go? Any recommendations for products?

It will be used for Standard Sky and a Wii - no intention of upgrading to HD in the near future.

Negotiable. Current TV is a 27inch non widescreen so anything from 32"+. Would prefer a decent TV/Picture for the money rather than bargain basement largest.

A good articulated bracket and installation will eat over half your budget...

The bracket currently holding up £600 worth of Panasonic Plasma in my living room was $£25 from a poundstrecher type shop. I fail to see why some are so expensive, its just a piece of metal.

Consider the load exerted by a 32" television hanging 600mm from the wall.

Slightly different to the two point loads holding a television to a backplate bolted securely to a wall.

I've seen the aftermath of using ste brackets, spend a bit more up front and it avoids buying a new television later.

So something like this would be no good?

Alternatively a TV stand and no installation would be good enough.

Almost impossible to tell from photographs.

The best selling fully articulated bracket in the UK is a Premier Mounts AM3

Find that on the web and compare and contrast the iron work...

Thanks for the name. Quick check of the website shows the Premier Mounts AM3 is for 40-60" TVs. The Premier Mounts AM2 is for up to 37" and looks to be around £50...

So for £450 - which TV + installation (upto 37")

AM2 is 32" max up to 23kgs and if you go for the best picture quality then that is a panny 37x10 and that doesn't have a fixing pattern compatible with the am2 alone it needs and adaptor.

Budget £100 to £150 for install.

For anyone interested, I ended up going for an LG 32lh3010 from Richer Sounds with a 5 year warranty and normal stand for £480 total.
