New amp/BD player

Thinking of buying a Yamaha DSP-Z7, maybe the harmon kardon, to use with celestion A3 L/R & 3x A1 C&S speakers. These speakers are big, 4 ohms and like (although don't demand) a gutsy amp. Music is top priority, if it wins there I'm sure movies will be fine.
One undecided thing is the blu-ray player, whether to get what the system deserves or grab a panasonic & upgrade later, as choice is a bit pants at the mo and a 2nd BD player would always be useful for "another room" given the rate I'm accumulating blu-ray discs. another one being shouted about at the mo is the oppo multi-everything player.
Still quite undecided (toyed with the idea of the arcam AVR600, but with the accompanying BD is a bit more than I want to spend), anything I've not considered?

The Arcam unit is at an entirely different price point but it does somewhat outclass the Z7.
Z7 probably the sound middle ground choice especially if two channel is in the mix as a priority.
Marantz MZ-SR8002 is another option.
Not sure if Sunfire have anything down around that price point, will have a look.
