I've just bought a 37 inch Sony Full HD LCD TV (37W5500) and a Sony Blu Ray player (S360). I watched my first Blu-Ray movie on Wednesday evening and was absolutely stunned! I thought the jump up from DVD was phenomenal. However, I've just been reading about Blu Ray on the web and the word on the forums seems to be that with a TV less than 40-42" you "won't notice the difference". This seems crazy to me, or am I the crazy one for thinking I can see a difference? Can anyone shed any light on this?

I'm sure because you 'only' have an LCD TV, those that sell Plasma TVs for a living will be on here soon to tell you that you must be wrong and you should change to a Plasma at any cost.

I think they mean the difference between full HD and HD ready. Between DVD and BD you can notice the difference from, oooo, about half a mile? biggrin
