Have I killed my Mission M-Cubes?
Discussion
Reassembled the hifi and tv etc last night after removing it for some house renovations.
I had three sets of speaker wires connected to the sub box (i.e. not all 5), but had forgotten to actually connect them to the speakers. The wires, although unattached, were not able to touch together. So, I switched it on, and touched one of the speaker cables where it was screwed into the terminal on the sub. As i did this it made a nasty noise and then I heard a pop and the sub box went dead.
Oops.
No amount of disconnecting and reconnecting seems to cure it. The only thing I haven't tried is connecting the two rear speakers - but surely it doesn't need all 5 speakers connected?
Fuse in the plug is fine, can't see anything else on the sub box to check or change?
Any help appreciated, ta.
