Im looking for a CD/Radio with Ipod dock for my bedroom.

Im after decent sound quality and good looks too.

Ideally I'd like the Meridian F80 but despite myself I just can't get over the ferrari branding. The price is abit steep too (£1400) for an all in one unit. I'd probably pay that if it was perfect for me but its not.

Any other suggestions along a similar line.

The F80 is superb - there is also the Alfred Dunhill AD88 if you do not like the Ferrari badge. The Vita R4 as mentioned is probably the closest thing but still a million miles away in terms of performance.

F80's regularly appear on eBay at around £1,000, saving quite a chunk off new price

The dunhill is £2k I think. I know its stupid but i've really got something against the branding, its like all that porsche design nonsense. If they did a non ferrari branded one I'd be a lot readier to pay out.

The vita looks nice, I think i'll have to track one down for a play/listen. thanks!

Ferrari branding is by metal badges on front and rear cloth grilles only ~ Meridian have a great reputation for customer service and may supply " badgeless" grilles for a small fee.
