I'm fitting a loft tv aerial and would like to put a DAB one in tehre as well, but is there a way to multiplex teh signals onto one coax cable instead of having to run 2 lots of cables to 3 rooms?

Yes,

The frequencies used by DAB are far lower than those of TV and Freeview and most amplifiers will pass both with out any problem.

Depending on the amp these 'diplexers' can either be built into the amp or installed externally on the mast for the antennas.
