Just bought a panasonic G15 freesat tele which is awesome and yesterday bought a samsung 4600 bluray player - lovely looking thing, but when testing out on an old DVD (the Shining) the audio sync was waaayyy out - to the extent where the scene where the kid is riding his trike across the carpet & wooden floors alternately the audio was almost the direct opposite...

Yet to try a blu-ray film but if this dvd is anything to go by its not great...

Any settings to rectify this?

Such a shame, as the wall mount player looks great - but if it can play DVDs with the audio in sync then its styling is fairly academic.

Any advive most welcome,

Are you running through an amplifier or straight into the TV?

If it's through a 5.1 amp chances are you can adjust the delay to fix this, and the amp should remember the setting across each source so it shouldn't mess up any other devices you run through the same amplifier.

I've got a 4600 as well and have had this problem a couple of times..

Its connected straight to my 7 series Samsung TV with an HDMI cable.

Is their a software upgrade for the players?
