We've just ordered Sky+HD with mulitroom.
Which as far as I understand will require 2 more cables from the dish to the STBs in the house.
Our original installer simply slung the cables over the roof (dish one side of house living room other).

I'm not over keen on having 3 cables laying across the roof. Would it be unreasonable to expect the installer to clip the cable up under the eaves and around the gable end of the house and back along the other side.

Has anyone else had any experience of this kind on problem?

Sky use alot of contractors, they get paid the same for each job so they normally do it the quickest way. If you get a propper sky man than i dont think he could say no.

I find that most of the installers are more than happy to take a £20 to do whatever extras you want.

yopu could ask him to go in the eaves one side and out the other , save running cabless across the gable end .
