Just bought the above. However, I have loads of files on discs/pc (wmv/avi/divx) and none of them play. How do I put/convert these over so they play? Are there any 'converters' that are free? Help.

It will play DVR-R discs you you need software like Nero or Ulead movie factory to create your DVD from video files, then it will burn them to a DVD-R then pop it into your blueray player and bobs your uncle.

Cheers. I've got an old version of Nero somewhere but I guess I'll need a more uptodate version.

I use Roxio (Build: 2.4.32a) at the moment, so i'm guessing thats sh*t too.

How I use my Roxio, is that I just 'burn' it to disc. Havent got a clue what format its in other than roughly how it was downloaded off the website/from my old sony camcorder. Perhaps I do need another burner that has options of different formats to create the disc to.

Cheers
