I'm currently working for a supermarket chain during my uni holidays and they have just recently started stocking TVs from these manufacturers. I have done a bit of a google but not a lot has appeared. I have half a share in a 40" samsung LCD right now with my housemate at uni, however, with him having the bigger room, it's going to be living in his room, which has led me to look at these if I can get my housemate to buy my half and then I could get something for my room. I've been looking at a 32" Techwood (only downside is that it doesn't appear to have vga which would be a pain linking it to my laptop of PC) but with a retail price of £300 and various discounts, I could pick one up for £225. I don't know much about either of these makes so I'm wondering whether this is an idea I should forget all about or whether it might be worth a shot at that price?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks, Arry.

The picture quality looks alright from what I've seen in the store, I doubt they are a currys home brand if Morrisons are stocking them, someone mentioned that they thought they were a Samsung screen but I don't know how true that is....! If they really are that bad, are the Neons just as bad?

Taking good advantage of the staff discount I guess wink

I am working on Tuesday next and will ask one of the managers to tell me what he really thinks of them!

They don't look as good when you get them home. Very slow processing and low resolution. Can't speak about the Neon's but I'd certainly avoid Techwood.

I'm only summer staff so don't get the discount frown but I may be able to persuade a member of permanent staff to 'buy' it for me tongue out
