Samsung HT WS1 2.1 any good?

Hi All,

Gearing up to get a set like this for my lounge- I dont need anything to extreme as the wife wants a cinema room, so that will most likely be projector based with 5.1 etc in the next year or so.

I am after a clean and simple set-up; am I right in thinking that these do not require an amp? (Running a well speced 40" Samsung LCD, LE40R off the top of my head).

Advice most welcome!

You'd be better off with a Yamaha Soundbar & Sub all things considered.

For the cash theyre good value. The set up in our showroom also has the optical out from the TV and with the bluetooth sub its a cinch to install. Volume is very average via Blu Ray but through TV pretty good.
